    Alison H. Mosca

    Managing Director & CEO

    Alison is a Managing Director & CEO of Kensington Capital Holdings, the firm she co-founded in 2008.  Alison brings over eighteen years of experience, fifteen of which have focused on private family wealth management, including wealth structuring, preservation and transfer, philanthropic advising, tax, investment and risk management counsel.  In the five and half years prior to founding Kensington Capital Holdings, Alison built a multi-family office within Audax Group, a leading middle market private equity firm for the founding members and their families.

    Prior to her work at Audax Group, Alison spent over seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Her experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers included the Private Client Group & Audit Assurance serving a variety of clients, including broker dealers, venture capital & private equity funds and their general partners, investment managers, insurance, high tech & and manufacturing companies.

    Alison is a Certified Public Accountant, she received her MS with distinction in Personal Financial Planning from Bentley University and her BS, cum laude with university honors program distinction, in Accounting from Northeastern University.

    Ken Rosa joined Kensington Capital Holdings at its inception in 2008 as a seasoned financial executive who brings over eighteen years of experience from various industry sectors drawn from his career in public accounting and private industry. Ken oversees all aspects of operations, accounting and financial systems for Kensington Capital Holdings. Ken also participates in evaluating potential investments and ongoing monitoring of existing direct investments.

    Ken’s public accounting career spanned twelve years transitioning from an associate at PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PWC) to manager and partner of regional firms where Ken spent much of his time acting as the Controller/CFO of a number of small to mid-sized businesses in industries such as high-tech, services, education, construction and start-up companies.

    Ken graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University with a BS in Accounting and Finance.

  • Daniel Gay Principal VIEW BIO

    Daniel Gay

    Principal

    Dan is responsible for sourcing and leading investments for Kensington Capital Holdings. Dan values building long lasting relationships with fund managers and entrepreneurs who want to invest and build companies seeking to disrupt current market offerings. Prior to KCH, Dan was an innovation consultant at Innosight, the leading authority on disruptive innovation.  At Innosight Dan specialized in innovation strategy & incubation within the healthcare, media and technology industries of Fortune 500 companies. Dan also led fundraising initiatives for Innosight Ventures, the internal incubation and investment arm of Innosight with operations in India and Singapore. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors for Vengo, Tava Indian Kitchen and Village Laundry Service. He also sits on the Board of Overseers of Babson College.

    Dan received a MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a B.S. from the John M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.

    Dan, his wife and three sons live in the Boston suburbs. Dan enjoys living an active lifestyle of running marathons, golfing and traveling.

  • Jon Gay Principal VIEW BIO

    Jon Gay

    Principal

    Jon Gay is a Principal at Kensington Capital Holdings, LLC.  He joined the firm in late 2013.  Prior to joining Kensington Capital, he worked as a Vice President at HGGC in Palo Alto, CA.  While at HGGC, Mr. Gay performed functions in all aspects of HGGC’s private equity practice including investment sourcing, investment analysis, and deal execution.  Prior to joining HGGC, he served as an Operations Analyst at Sorenson Capital Partners’ Performance Group where he specialized in working with the senior management/staff of Sorenson’s portfolio companies.  He earned his B.A. in Economics from the John M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

    Jon enjoys an active lifestyle of adventure motorcycling, alpine skiing and traveling.

  • Kyle W. Gay Principal VIEW BIO

    Kyle W. Gay

    Principal

    Kyle is responsible for sourcing and leading investments in public companies, private companies, and managed funds within the private investment arm of Kensington Capital Holdings.

    Prior to joining Kensington, Kyle was an investment associate in the private equity group of Norwest Venture Partners, a multi-stage investment firm in Palo Alto managing $9.5 Billion in assets. Prior to Norwest, Kyle was an investment associate with HGGC, a middle market private equity firm in Palo Alto managing $4.3 Billion in assets. Kyle began his career as an investment analyst with Sandbox Industries in Chicago as a member of the BlueCross BlueShield Venture Funds team managing $800 Million on behalf of 29 BCBS health insurance organizations.

    Kyle obtained a bachelor of arts degree in economics and statistics, magna cum laude, from the Love School of Business at Elon University.

    Outside of work, Kyle enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and daughter. He is also a member of the Board of Governors for the Ensign College of Public Health, a leading college of public health based in Ghana, West Africa. Kyle had the opportunity to live in Ghana from ages 14 to 18 and completed high school while there.

    VP Philanthropy

    Chris has lived abroad and traveled around the world extensively. He graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in sculpture from State University New York, Purchase College. Chris is the Founder of Ayindisa, LLC, a socially responsible and fair trade artisan business in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

    Chris has spent a decade working for and volunteering with various non-profit organizations. His work has been with entities such as: (BFAS) Best Friends Animal Society and Ascend, a Humanitarian Alliance. Chris is currently the Director of West Africa Operations at Engage Now Africa, a partner organization of the Kensington Capital Children’s Fund and Forever Young Foundation

    Since 1995, Chris has been working in the USA and around the world most specifically in Ethiopia and Ghana to help marginalized communities and artisan producers rise above poverty.

  • Gabrielle Gay Director of Emerging Market Strategy VIEW BIO

    Gabrielle Gay

    Director of Emerging Market Strategy

    Gabrielle brings investment and strategic management acumen to human-centered development. As Director of Emerging Market Strategy, she manages a portfolio of investments and projects in emerging markets, with an emphasis in West Africa; advises on philanthropic opportunities; and oversees partnerships.

    In her capacity as Chief Operating Officer of Ensign College of Public Health in Ghana, she is working to develop sustainable, innovative, impact-driven solutions to advance healthcare in West Africa. Since 2014 she has overseen the large-scale construction of a world-class, 50-acre campus; the hiring of over 50 faculty and staff; and the launch of a master’s degree program in public health, fully accredited in both the U.S. and Ghana.

    In July 2018 she co-founded and launched the Schumpeter Center for Innovation and Development that will focus on market-creating innovation and entrepreneurship in West Africa.

    Prior to joining Kensington Capital, Gabrielle worked at Gap Inc., a leading global specialty retailer, located in San Francisco, California, in the Growth, Innovation and Digital (GID) Strategy Division.

    Gabrielle received an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a B.S. in Economics from Utah State University. She currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Medical Innovation at the University of Utah and on the Board of Directors of Cache Valley Bank.
